Kate Winslet to move in with new beau Ned Rocknroll

The 35-year-old Oscar winner Kate Winslet, who presently shares a $2.2 million New York apartment with ex-husband Sam Mendes, now looks forward for a live-in relationship with new beau Ned Rocknroll.

Kate and Ned met during a stay on Richard Branson’s private Caribbean island Necker in August. At the time, Kate was still dating model boyfriend Louis Dowler. But she left Louis for 33-year-old Ned. The pair has been inseparable since their meeting.

“Kate and Ned have barely spent a day apart since they met,” the Daily Mail quoted a friend as saying.

“They have been travelling together recently but are hoping to find a base that they can call home.”

“Sam isn’t keen on them moving into the New York place, which they own jointly, so Kate is looking for something else, either in the States or Britain,” the friend added.

Kate Winslet was previously married to director Jim Threapleton and Sam Mendes. She and Mendes split in March 2010. Meanwhile, Ned has already filed for divorce from wife Eliza Pearson.

Winslet has been going through a lot of changes in her life, firstly she separated from her director husband Sam Mendes and had a fling with male model, Louis Dowler. But now it seems that the actress has moved on yet again to another gentleman caller…and this one seems like its getting pretty serious.

The man in question is none other than Ned Rocknroll, and no that is not his real name. The nephew of Richard Branson is already married, but separated from his young ex…(it is rumored that she wants him back but its looks like that’s a no go…obviously) …Winslet has always been pretty open with her relationships and you never really see her hiding away from love, and this is no one different.

The award winning actress was spotted traveling with her new boyfriend and with this trip, leaves nothing open to speculation. They are together for sure, spotted holding hands, cuddling, laughing and smiling the two were very much the picture of love.

Will Winslet go on to marry and become a Branson of her own? I would! I would love to go into space or the depths of the ocean, if she marries in, she is certain to get a seat! She may have only met him a few months ago but Kate Winslet has decided the time is right to introduce her new beau to her children.

The 36-year-old actress was pictured arriving at Newark airport last night with her boyfriend, Ned Rocknroll, and appeared to be playing happy families.

Ned, 33, was clearly seen holding hands with Kate’s youngest child, Joe, 7, as they made their way through the building with airport staff.

The actress’s daughter, 11-year-old Mia, was also with them and stayed close to her mother and her new man following their flight.

Kate met Ned after she took a trip to his uncle’s private island, known as Necker Islands, a few months ago.

We first heard that Kate Winslet and Richard Branson’s nephew Ned Rocknroll were dating pretty recently. But it looks like things are moving much faster than we thought! The couple who just came out semi-officially, they did not mind being spotted holding hands and cuddling to one another. That’s as official as its gonna get in the Hollywood world.

Yet, this is another ballgame, a new stepping stone for the couple. Winslet has introduced her new partner to her children, Mia, 11 and Joe, 7, which as we know is always a big deal. The foursome were seen walking and playing around in the chilly November weather that has begun in New York City.

Very cute! Its always nice to see a couple who are down to Earth first falling in love, especially in Hollywood when a lot can be superficial. We will have to wait and see if these two make it to the alter, though they have a small obstacle…Rocknroll is still married, technically.

Rumor is, his estranged wife has been trying to get him back for months. No clue what caused the split, but as we see here, he is not heading towards a route of reconciliation at all. But then again, Winslet is a lot of competition, beautiful, smart, sweet and easy going, Ned is not doing too shabby at all.

Sidenote, I find it hilarious that The Los Angeles Times will not use Ned Rocknroll’s “new” name. They still use Branson even though he legally changed his name to Rocknroll.

Kate Winslet’s Scary Parenting Mistake Doesn’t Make Her a Bad Mom

If you’re going into a big battle of the mommy wars, I might not be your best soldier. Because when I looked at a picture of Kate Winslet making a big ol’ blunder of the parenting variety, all I could think was: “Oh thank GOD! It’s not just me!”

The actress was out with boyfriend Ned Rocknroll (nephew of billionaire Richard Branson) and her kids Joe and Mia when paparazzi caught a shot of them. Looks like a cute family shot, right? Bonus points to you if you can spot what’s wrong with this picture.

That’s right, Joe is skateboarding down the bumpy sidewalks of New York City without a helmet to protect his little noggin. The 7-year-old appears to be having plenty of fun, and there are two adults right there should anything happen. But when you consider the American Academy of Pediatrics blames skateboarding injuries for 50,000 emergency room visits annually, and at least 1,500 kids are hospitalized for getting hurt on one of these things every year, you could say mama Winslet is either brave or an idiot.

Personally, I’m going to go with option three: a mom who picks her battles, but not a bad one.

I say that because I’ve so done this. For the most part, we are a safety-conscious, helmet-wearing household. I have one of the dorky brain buckets not because I particularly like them, but because I want to set a good example for my 6-year-old. If I wear one, she doesn’t have an extra excuse to avoid buckling hers on.

But then there are those days! When you’re out on the front lawn, the sun is shining, and you’re thinking, “OK, I’m RIGHT here, what could go wrong?” I find myself relaxing on the rules when I’m standing with my kid, watching her every move vs. when I’m working in the yard and my back might be turned.

As parents, we tend to consider ourselves relatively omnipotent, like simply being there will make disaster turn its tail and run away like a hiker who sees a mama bear and backs away from the cubs. It’s not always right. We should make our kids wear their helmets, wash their hands, eat healthy foods. But sometimes, feeling like we are better protection than a big chunk of plastic is the only thing that keeps us from going insane over all those things out there that we can’t protect our kids from!

Do you see other moms making mistakes like Kate Winslet, and think, “Thank goodness I’m not the only one”?

James Cameron presents clips from ‘Titanic’ in 3-D: Wait, is that water coming into the theater?!

Are you ready to go back to Titanic – in three dimensions? A very trim-looking James Cameron and his producing partner Jon Landau presented eight scenes from the newly dimensionalized second-highest-grossing-movie-of-all-time to a gaggle of press and industry types this morning in Los Angeles. The sneak peak was in anticipation of the re-release of Titanic on April 6, 2012, roughly 15 years after its debut in theaters and almost exactly 100 years after the doomed ship launched on its maiden, and final, voyage. (The ship ultimately sank on April 15, 1912.) “There’s a whole generation who haven’t seen [Titanic] in theaters at all,” Cameron pointed out while extolling the virtues of the theatrical experience. Noting he would have shot the film in 3-D natively if he’d had the chance, Cameron admitted that he’s “kind of very much against [3-D] conversion for films that have a choice.” But after 60 weeks and $18 million, he says he feels confident that Titanic is as close to 3-D perfect as possible. “It’s 2.99-D,” he said with a wry grin. That said, Titanic will also be re-released in regular 2-D theaters, as well as in IMAX (in both 3-D and 2-D), which will enjoy some added picture since Cameron shot the film in “Super 35,” which allows for more image above and below a normal widescreen frame.

But what you really want to know is: How did the film look in 3-D?

Pretty darn good. The first scene we saw was also, in hindsight, the most overtly three-dimensional: Rose’s arrival at the RMS Titanic as it’s being loaded up with steamer trunks, crates, and shiny new cars, all thrusting their way into and out of the frame. That iconic shot where the camera sweeps down from above Rose’s swooping hat almost made me laugh out loud at how odd it felt seeing this moment as if I was myself slowly dropping down over Kate Winslet. Another clip, with Rose and Jack dancing in the steerage section, also had a nice sense of bustle and space, and didn’t feel like it was a bunch of cardboard cutouts skittering about each other.

Yes, we also saw the iconic moment between Jack and Rose on the bow, and yes, almost in spite of myself, I felt a twinge of that sweeping romance that first hit me when I saw the movie on opening night. I have no idea if being able to fully appreciate the size of the ship behind them added to that feeling or not, and Cameron himself even admitted that it’s difficult to parse just what kind of affect 3-D has on an emotional experience.

That said, out of all the clips he screened — the panic as the ship closed in on the iceberg; the band playing mournfully on the deck as the passengers panicked to escape the rising ocean; the ship sinking vertically into the Atlantic — the longest and most effective was the sequence in which Rose struggled to free Jack from his handcuffs at the bottom of the ship. As she raced through the ship’s empty bowels, water rising with every passing second, the 3-D really did give me a greater feeling of how alone she is in those long and deserted hallways. Watching the water lap against the frame, always threatening to spill into the theater, certainly helped add to the sense of anxiety, too.

After the screening was over, Cameron couldn’t resist one final Cameron-esque jibe. After Landau noted that they were making zero changes to the film itself, Cameron added, “I don’t have that revisionist gene.” Snap.

Leonardo DiCaprio Excited For 3-D Titanic

LEONARDO DiCaprio still has time for his days as a Titanic heartthrob.

The Inception star is currently busy promoting political thriller J Edgar and shooting The Great Gatsby but that doesn’t mean he’s not excited about the 3-D relaunch of James Cameron‘s Titanic.

“I’m excited to see what the post 3D conversion process is,” says Leo who made his name opposite Kate Winslet in the 1997 movie. “I’ll always be proud to have been in that movie but I haven’t seen a frame of it. I hear it looks great though. I’m excited to see it.”

DiCaprio recently admitted he never wanted to be an actor when he was growing up and his interest in environmental issues are all because he missed out on his true calling.

“Ever since I was very young I’ve been fascinated with nature and I actually wanted to be a marine biologist,” he said.

“That was a great passion of mine and why in the off season when I’m not making movies, I became more and more active as an environmentalist trying to be more vocal about issues I felt were important. I try to shed some light on some very topical issues right now.”

‘Titanic 3D’: James Cameron introduces trailer for his ’97 epic

In an era when film trailers debut before many eyeballs on cellphone screens, how do you market a movie whose story is well known and whose chief selling point is the big screen, 3-D experience?

In the case of “Titanic 3D,” the 3-D conversion of James Cameron’s 1997 epic due in theaters in April, distributors Paramount Pictures and 20th Century Fox are trying a mixture of personal appeal and nostalgia.

In a version of the trailer that debuted only on “Titanic’s” Facebook page today, Cameron stepped in front of the camera to introduce the film. “I’m excited to be bringing ‘Titanic’ back to the big screen again,” he said, before thanking the movie’s 10 million Facebook fans “for staying true to ‘Titanic.’ ”

For most moviegoers around the globe, the elements of the trailer will be intimately familiar: a 22-year-old, tuxedo clad Leonardo DiCaprio at the foot of the ship’s grand staircase, 21-year-old Kate Winslet posing nude for a portrait, the massive passenger liner plummeting vertically into the North Atlantic as Celine Dion belts out “My Heart Will Go On.”

The two studios are spending $18 million converting the film, a winner of 14 Academy Awards and the highest grossing movie of all time until Cameron’s “Avatar” knocked it from its perch in 2009. They are banking on fans coming back to theaters, just as they did for Disney’s recent 3-D conversion of “The Lion King,” as well as those who were either too young or too far from theaters to see “Titanic” on the big screen in the first place, such as audiences in burgeoning film territories like China and Russia.

“Titanic 3-D” will be released worldwide April 6.

After wowing in St. John’s cinematic Fall 2011 ad campaign, the Oscar winner returns for the label’s Spring 2012 ads.
Launching in February, the campaign reunites Winslet with photographer Craig McDean, who snapped the Lancôme beauty in a penthouse at the Chelsea Arts Tower.

Kate Winslet “shakes her butt” at her young daughter to promote a healthy body image.

The stunning actress has ten-year-old daughter Mia Honey with ex-husband Jim Threapleton. She also has son Joe with Sam Mendes.

Kate is renowned for embracing her womanly curves, and hopes to pass her positive body image onto her children.

“I accept my body. I accept how I am and make the best of what I am given. Children orientate towards examples. That’s why I talk solely positive about my body in front of my daughter. Why the actress rushed to put on a bra during house fire

Kate Winslet was thrown into confusion when confronted with the fire which destroyed Sir Richard Branson’s Caribbean home in August (2011) and the first thing she did was put on her bra.

The Titanic actress and 20 other guests were holidaying at the tycoon’s luxury retreat in the British Virgin Islands when lightening struck the wooden property, setting it ablaze.

Kate was hailed a heroine for carrying Richard’s frail 90-year-old mother Eve to safety as the building burned around them. But the Brit admits her brave actions only came after a few minutes of panic, revealing she rushed to put on her underwear before trying to escape the disaster.

She spilled to British TV host Graham Norton that “it was genuinely very scary. We woke up at 4.30 in the morning to yelling that there was a fire.”

“I jumped up and ran immediately towards the fire but then realised we might die so turned around, told my children to go in and shut the door and then thought, ‘Now what do I do?’ I ran into the bedroom and put on a bra.”

Kate admits that “in disastrous moments like that, you do the strangest things. I started to put on a bra and thought, ‘No, that’s going to take me too long’, so off came the bra, on came the T-shirt, I grabbed the children and I picked up Granny.”

The modest star went on to downplay her part in saving Richard’s mother, adding, “No, I didn’t save her life. I carried her down the stairs is the truth of it.”

“We were all at the top of some very slippery stone steps and in the middle of a hurricane. It was so dramatic, there was lashing rain and it really did feel like being in a movie. In truth, I carried Eve Branson down the stairs.”

“I have to say Eve Branson is an extraordinary stoic, powerful lady and she could have totally made it out on her own. I just helped that tiny little bit.”

A new poster for Roman Polanski’s Carnage has been released this week, but unfortunately it doesn’t do much in the way of promotion.

Written and directed by Roman Polanski, the film is based on the acclaimed play God of Carnage by French playwright Yasmina Reza and premiered at the 68th Venice International Film Festival this year.

Whilst the poster doesn’t reflect on the film’s black comedy genre, it does express the film’s plot exceedingly well, showing two sets of parents (Kate Winslet, Christoph Waltz and Jodie Foster, John C. Reilly) who meet up to talk after their children got into a fight at school.

It might not sound very interesting, or even look that way from the poster, but Carnage has received a number of excellent reviews and the play that it is based on has won three awards, including Best New Play at the 2009 Olivier Awards.

Carnage is set to be released on 3rd February, 2012, and here’s the latest poster, courtesy of IMP:

Sometimes, when a wax figure of a celebrity is unveiled, it looks little to nothing like the person it’s supposed to be.

But Madame Tussauds’ replica of Kate Winslet is definitely not one of those cases.

The Oscar-winner’s wax figure was unveiled in London on Wednesday, and bears a striking resemblance to the British star.
The replica is dressed up as Winslet at this year’s Emmy Awards, wearing a recreation of the red, cap-sleeved Elie Saab dress the actress wore to the ceremony. She won an Emmy for her starring role in the HBO miniseries “Mildred Pierce.”

The wax figure is on display at the museum next to two other female British stars – replicas of Dames Helen Mirren and Judi Dench.

Earlier this fall Kate talked about her penchant for getting naked on screen. She told V magazine, “I hate it! Listen, make no mistake, I just get on it. I just go in and say, ‘Oh fuck, let’s do it,’ and boom! If you complain about it or procrastinate it’s not going to go away. It’s a profoundly bizarre thing to do.”

It was time for the British star’s talent to be acknowledge after many years of dedication and hard work, so Kate Winslet’s wax figure was unveiled at Madame Tussauds in London on Thursday, based on a recent report published by the Associated Press.

The wax replica is now available at the famous Madam Tussauds museum and was revealed to the public during a press conference. The latest addition completes the collection of Oscar-winning wax replicas and brings a well-deserved reward to the British actress. The wax version of Kate Winslet is, however surrounded by other renowned British thespians like Dame Helen Mirren and Dame Judi Dench.

Model-makers who have worked at the wax replica have chosen to re-produce the look that the 36-year-old actress displayed at the Emmy awards in September. For that, they had to recreate the red cap-sleeve Elie Saab dress that Kate wore during that night. A lot of attention was dedicated to the duplication of the actress’ hair. Craftsmen worked for an entire month to replicate the swept-across fringe she sported that night.

According to Madame Tussauds PR manager, Liz Edwards, many people around the world have suggested that the Titanic actress was immortalized through a wax figure, so the museum had to conform to their wishes. Edwards also stated that the actress must enjoy a good reputation among fans given the large numbers of people who requested her statue.

It is not just Winslet who was honored by the unveiling of her statue, but the museum itself. The PR manager declared that Madame Tussauds is delighted to host the wax replica of an iconic person like Kate Winslet. Liz Edwards described her as a “true English Rose” due to the great influence she has on the public.

Kate Winslet received an award at the beginning of this year for her interpretation in the mini-series called Mildred Pierce. The actress was very shocked to hear that she won a prize and she manifested her joy by jumping out of her seat and punching the air. This reaction was long mocked by comedians, but Kate was clearly taken by surprise.

Already a hot tip to get an Oscar nomination for her break-out role as a paranoid escapee from an abusive cult in Martha Marcy May Marlene, 22-year-old Olsen has revealed that she took inspiration from The Reader Oscar-winner Kate Winslet to get through her nude scenes in the psychological thriller.

“[Martha Marcy May Marlene] is only my second film, I got nervous. ‘Wait does this set a precedent for me? Are people going to think I’m just game for that?’ Because I’m not,” she said. “When it’s sensationalised or gratuitous, I have no interest in it. But for this movie, it’s so a part of the nature theme that’s exploded and the loss of identity…”
It was Winslet’s performance as a woman under the spell of a cult in Holy Smoke that really gave Olsen the courage to bare all in MMMM.

“Kate Winslet in that film has much more difficult, physically vulnerable scenes than I did in this movie and it was so impactful. And I was thinking, ‘Look at her career now. She’s not pigeonholed, it just is the story.'”

“And that was a lesson to learn, to look up to her career as something that’s pretty ideal in my mind… That gave me a type of courage of being like, ‘I’m going to support the movie, this tells the story better, this is important for the story and that’s that.'”

Titanic film costumes to go on show in Shropshire

Costumes worn by Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio in the Oscar-laden movie Titanic will feature in a Shropshire exhibition opening today.

Lasting until the beginning of December, the display will be held at Ludlow Assembly Rooms in Ludlow.

Dozens of other of items of memorabilia from the legendary liner Titanic, including the ‘Heart of the Ocean’ necklace, will also be on show in the The Titanic Honour and Glory exhibition.

The exhibition is part of a centenary tour, in the run-up to the 100th anniversary of the tragedy. It is the first time it has been held in Ludlow, and organisers are hoping to attract crowds from across the country.

The exhibition, the brainchild of Sean Szmalc and Margot Corson, features many rare and previously unseen artefacts from the liner’s passengers and crew. These include some of the beautiful china dinner plates, which served the first meals aboard the Titanic.

Also on display will be a fountain pen which belonged to the captain of the Titanic and, perhaps most poignantly of all, visitors will also be able to see a beautiful 18 carat gold pocket watch which belonged to one of the waiters, Vincenzo Gilardino.

The exhibition will be at Ludlow Assembly Rooms until December 10. Opening times are Monday to Saturday noon to 3pm (six half hour slots), and 6.15pm to 7.15pm (two half hour slots). To avoid overcrowding visitors will be assigned to half hour slots.

Jaguar design boss Ian Callum was at the Dunhill shop in London last night, talking about the future of car design with Martin Brundle. And very highbrow it was too, until PH asked a mildly seedy question about, if not Kate Winslet, who Callum, um, had in mind with his current designs.

This relates to the widely reported (at the time) story that Callum had based the curves of the current XK on those of said star, an anecdote perpetuated by Winslet in an appearance on the Jay Leno show. So did he?

Er, no. As it turns out. Which was a little embarrassing for us.

Does my bum look big in this Jag?

Chatting with Callum afterwards we got to the bottom of the story. And it seems he was stitched up by a journalist. Who’d have thought, eh? At the time of the launch of the car he spent some time driving around LA in it with a local showbiz reporter. “She couldn’t drive so I was actually driving her around,” he says. “And she kept saying it’s so voluptuous, it must be inspired by a woman.” He protested otherwise, telling us he doesn’t “do that sex in car design stuff” but she persisted. And after a couple of days slipped the question “who’s your final actress then?” Callum answered Winslet and, boom, the legend was born, the XK arguably a better likeness of Winslet than that achieved by Leo DiCaprio in Titanic.

Does Callum resent the mix-up? Seemingly not – “why let the facts get in the way of a story” his assessment. And, no, he didn’t tell us who he was thinking of when he designed the XJ.

Kate becomes force’s new sweetheart

A POLICE force has unveiled its latest crime-fighting recruit – ten-week-old German shepherd puppy Kate.

Fife Police named the dog after movie star Kate Winslet, pictured right, the favourite actress of a member of staff who died earlier this year, Allan Green.

Mr Green was the force’s freedom of information officer. His family raised funds to buy the puppy from London’s Metropolitan Police. Kate is doing her basic training with handler PC Lynn Law to become a full-time member of the dog section.

PC Law said: “Kate is a very lively and intelligent puppy who I am sure will make a great working police dog.”

10-week-old Kate was bought for £600 for Fife Constabulary

A 10-week-old German shepherd puppy has become a police force’s latest recruit after she was bought with money raised from an official’s funeral.

Allan Green, 44, who was Fife Constabulary’s freedom of information officer, died after falling down stairs while carrying his bike in July.

The Edinburgh man’s family asked for donations for a police dog, rather than flowers, at his funeral.

The puppy has been named Kate after Mr Green’s favourite actress Kate Winslet.

The young dog was bought from the Metropolitan Police for £600 with the donations.

Kate is doing her basic training with handler PC Lynn Law to become a full-time member of the dog section.

Office window

PC Law said: “Kate is a very lively and intelligent puppy who I am sure will make a great working police dog.

“I have had her for three weeks now and our intention is to allow her to enjoy her puppyhood but start with initial play training when she is 12 weeks old.

“We will continue that until she is 15 months old, when an intensive three-month training period will begin.

“When that is completed she will become a valuable addition to the service and a fitting and lasting memorial to Allan’s memory.”

Mr Green had worked for the force for seven years when he passed away.

His partner Maria Daly said: “Allan used to enjoy seeing the police dogs being trained outside of his office window, and was full of admiration for the work they did.

“We decided that rather than have flowers at his funeral we would ask for donations instead, and felt that buying a police puppy in his honour was an appropriate way to spend the money raised.

“Allan liked watching films and was particularly taken by the actress Kate Winslet, so we are delighted that the puppy has been named after her.”

Kate Winslet’s new lover, Ned Rocknroll, is still married, but that has not stopped him from showering the Hollywood star with gifts.

Mandrake can disclose that Ned, 33, who changed his surname by deed poll from Abel Smith before he married Viscount Cowdray’s daughter Eliza Pearson, has bought a vintage love locket for Winslet which cost thousands of pounds.

On the day after the Oscar-winning actress turned 36, she accompanied Rocknroll, who is the nephew of Sir Richard Branson, to a preview of the Goode & Son jewellery collection, at the W Hotel in the West End, where they inspected the baubles.

“Kate and Ned were very much an item,” says a fellow guest. “They had their arms around each other and were openly kissing.”

The necklace was sold by Charles Goode, who designed Zara Phillips’s engagement ring. Earlier that evening, Ned attended the launch of a children’s book, Sarky Puddleboat, by his grandmother Eve Branson, at the Knightsbridge School. Asked about his new romance, he says: “I don’t want into get into that – it’s private. I’m here to talk about granny.”

Rocknroll married Pearson, 23, in September 2009, but they separated after just 20 months. However, she said in July: “I’ve changed my mind about divorce. I am hoping this will turn out to be more of a break than a total separation, because the longer we are apart the more it’s making me realise how much I miss him.”

She added: “It went wrong, but it’s not as if it was a shotgun wedding — we’d been together for four years. I have never stopped loving him and we are soulmates — that doesn’t come along very often.”

DESPITE already being married, Kate Winslet’s boyfriend has spared no expense in showing his affection for the star on her 36th birthday.

Ned Rocknroll – a nephew of Virgin boss Sir Richard Branson who legally changed his name from Abel Smith before marrying the aristocrat Eliza Pearson – paid thousands of dollars for the necklace, according to The (London) Sunday Telegraph.

Oscar-winner Winslet went with Rocknroll to preview a collection of Goode and Son jewelry at a London hotel as she celebrated her 36th birthday.

“Kate and Ned were very much an item,” another attendee said. “They had their arms around each other and were openly kissing.”

Rocknroll, 33, declined to comment on his relationship with Winslet at the launch of his grandmother’s children’s book earlier in the evening, saying, “I don’t want into get into that – it’s private. I’m here to talk about granny.”

He married Pearson, 23, in September 2009 after four years together, but they separated after 20 months.

Winslet was staying at Branson’s private island in August with her then-boyfriend, Louis Dowler, when a lightning strike set the house on fire amid a tropical storm, prompting her to rush inside to carry the billionaire’s 90-year-old mother to safety in the middle of the night.

The actress couldn’t keep her paws off Ned Rocknroll during a meal at a posh Italian restaurant.

While fellow diners, including Gwyneth Paltrow, were slurping their spaghetti at other tables, Kate was tucking in to Ned.

A source at the eaterie in London’s West End said: “Kate was snogging Ned’s face off, although he didn’t seem to mind.

“They were so into one another, Kate was almost straddling Ned at one point during the meal.

“They didn’t seem to care who saw them, even though Gwyneth and pals were on another table – and she didn’t look too impressed.”

Kate and Ned – who changed his surname by deed poll from Abel Smith – have been dating since last month.

They met through Ned’s uncle Sir Richard Branson, whose family Kate often goes on holiday with.

The last time she went away with the Bransons, to the Caribbean in August, she rescued Sir Richard’s mother Eve from a fire which ravaged the Virgin boss’s private Necker island home.

It’s no wonder that Kate is a hero in Ned’s eyes.

The British actress was with Ned Rocknroll when they put on the amorous display at an upmarket London Italian eatery.

Kate and Ned were seen showing their affections for one another in front of fellow diners, including Hollywood star Gwyneth Paltrow.

“Kate was snogging Ned’s face off, although he didn’t seem to mind. They were so into one another, Kate was almost straddling Ned at one point during the meal,” an onlooker told British newspaper The Sun.

“They didn’t seem to care who saw them, even though Gwyneth and pals were on another table – and she didn’t look too impressed.”

Kate and Ned – who is the nephew of businessman Sir Richard Branson – have been dating since last month. The couple got to know one another while holidaying on Richard’s Necker Island recently, at the time when the billionaire’s home caught fire.

Kate Winslet has reportedly been spotted indulging in some serious PDA with new boyfriend Ned Rocknroll over dinner.

The 36-year-old actress was apparently enjoying a meal with her new squeeze at an Italian restaurant in London’s West End when things got a bit heated as fellow diners, including Gwyneth Paltrow, looked on.

‘Kate was snogging Ned’s face off, although he didn’t seem to mind,’ a source told The Sun.
